Screen Practice for Actors, Filmmakers and Organisations
Practical workshops, consultancy and mentoring shaped by twenty five years of professional experience across production, education and storytelling.
Great screen work doesn’t happen by accident. It comes from understanding how stories are developed, performances are shaped and productions are led. My work is about making that process accessible through filmmaking, education and practical experience.
Learn by Doing
Whether you’re a theatre practitioner, an actor preparing for your first self-tape, a filmmaker developing a short film, a teacher designing an education programme
or a business professional building confidence in front of the camera, every session is grounded in professional practice and collaborative learning.
Workshops and sessions are for everyone; actors, young filmmakers, production teams, organisations, educators/students and SEND learners.

Creative Practice. Screen Learning. Storytelling.
For more than twenty-five years I’ve worked across film, television, music and creative education, building a career that combines production, directing, leadership and learning.
As a filmmaker, producer and director, I’ve collaborated with artists, educators, organisations and production teams to develop stories for screen across documentary, drama, commercial and digital media. Alongside my production work, I’ve designed learning programmes, mentored emerging creatives and led practical projects that bring people together through filmmaking and screen practice.
My approach is grounded in the belief that the best learning comes through doing. Whether working with actors, students, creative teams or organisations, I focus on creating practical experiences that build confidence, develop craft and demystify the realities of professional screen production.
Before moving into film, I spent many years working as an international touring musician and in the music industry. That background continues to influence my work, shaping an approach to storytelling that values rhythm, collaboration and authentic human connection.
Today my work spans filmmaking, Screen Practice workshops, creative consultancy and mentoring, helping individuals and organisations develop the skills, confidence and understanding needed to tell compelling stories for the screen.
